Baywatch: It is the same story; with same names and the same beauty and action of 90’s
See the popular TV series of 90’s, Baywatch, in big screen and relive the sensation of the 90’s with the cinematic technology of 21st century. There is not much difference in the story or even the characters. Barring a few new entries, most of the characters of 90’s are retained in the movie. But some of the characters are replaced with new faces to keep the movie fresh.
Replacements & Entries
Dwayne Johnson is Mitch Buchannon portrayed by David Hassealhoff in the TV series and Zac Efron replaces the French actor David Charvet who played the young stud Matt Brody in the TV. There twp more replacements – Alexandra Daddario replaces Nicole Eggert as Summer Quinn and Kelly Rohrbach replaces Pamella Anderson as CJ Parker in the movie.
Baywatch is the Hollywood debut of Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra. And she’s playing the big villain role in the movie. OMG! It’s a big role and also the biggest opportunity for Bollywood megastar. The entire story of the movie revolves around Priyanka. She’s is Victoria Leeds in the movie.
As usual, the head lifeguard is trying to accommodate the new entrant in his team, Matt Brody that is a rough guy but seen as a PR person for the team. He’s a disgraced former Olympian but he became a lifeguard. They both are always head on and aware about a bigger threat to the life at the beach. And the threat is no other than the rich lady, Victoria Leeds. As an evil-business chick, she looks quite stubborn and cunning. And she’s doing a nasty while living life of a princess. Mitch and Brody have to settle their scores at least to prevent Victoria Leeds from succeeding in her wicked plans.
In addition to the tragic scene of saving a drowning child and the darker side of lifeguards, the movie shows toned and tanned bodies, cleavage and double meaning words and sentences. Sexy babes in swimsuits and lifeguards in action would screw the viewers to their seats until the dram unfolds.
