Independence Day: Resurgence Movie
Independence Day: Resurgence: The story starts from Independence Day
Independence Day Resurgence is a sequel to 1996 movie Independence Day. It starts where the Independence Day concludes. It has been two decades since the last alien attack but the danger is still looming large over the world and this time, aliens are more furious. Armed with deadly weapons, the aliens have made plans to uproot the human kingdom from the world and this is seen in the movie.
The destruction shown in the movie is simply mind blowing. Director Roland Emmerich did a marvelous job in making the science fiction disaster more interesting than the Independence Day. In a scene, the Burj Khalifa is shown piercing the earth. The landmarks are uprooted and used as weapons. There is chaos everywhere as the cities of high skyscrapers are reduced to rubble. UN is also involved in the movie as it is a constitutional body and has the right to protect the earth.
A united global defense program, Earth Space Defense, is chalked in a hurry and armies are pressed into action to prevent the aliens from attacking the earth. Since the battle is to be fought in space, Moon, Mars, Rhea and Area 51 are turned into defense stations. World armies withstand the first attack by aliens successfully and in the counter attack, the world army sends the aliens into hiding but little to the armies know that the real attack from alien forces is yet to start.
Aliens send signals to their bases and ask for quick help that arrives in no time. A huge army of aliens with weapons of mass destructions in their hands arrives to destroy the space defense stations and pave the way to destroy the earth. The real battle begins after the first battle is won but the world army has already spent its energy in controlling the first attack.
