The story goes back to the ancient time when mutant was the most powerful living organism after God. The mutant that is En Sabah Nur is in hibernation since thousands of years but one day he gets up only to find that the world has changed for better. The mutant, who’s also called Apocalypse, doesn’t approve the changed orders, customs and traditions of the world and he decides to crush the development and make a new society. He makes a force with Famine, Pestilence, War and Death to win the world and establish a new order. But the saviors Charles Xavier and Raven/Mystique are also ready with their team of young X-Men to meet the Apocalypse. What happens afterwards is anybody’s guess.
The movie is based on X-Men comic characters and also it is written in a comic style. Seeing the movie will be reading an X-Men series comic book. It is interesting as it is different from the other action films. Audiences can enjoy the movie without remembering the casts and their roles as most of the audiences are well aware of the X-Men comic books.
Highlight of the movie is inclusion of younger version of the Apocalypse team according to Singer, the writer of the movie. He further states that the film will focus on origin of mutants. The way the film is developed shows that the crew wanted the movie to be different from the comic book.
