Girls Trip: All boundaries are broken to portray misbehaving women

Malcolm D. Lee sends four friends on a trip to make a movie and made Girls Trip that knows no boundaries in making raunchy comedy using lady parts; dick and thrusty and lusty pantomimes. It is difficult to stay that Girls Trip is a great movie but it is certainly genitalia humor.

Girls Trip isn’t the first movie portraying women in bad light but it is the movie that surpasses all the earlier movies related to misbehaving women. We’ve seen wider side of women in Bridesmaid (2011), Bad Teacher (2011), Bad Moms (2016), How To Be Single (2016), Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016) and Snatched (2017). The latest in the list is Rough Night released early this summer.

Girls Trip is going to beat all these movies in misbehavior and raunchy comedy. No part of women’s life is left to be revealed and no comment is left to be made. It is all about male nudity and women’s opinion about all the filthy talk. It isn’t a serious kind of cinema and nor does it give any message to society. It is about exploring your inner-self but it is difficult to believe that inner-self of a woman could go awry.

The journey starts

Four school friends reunite for a weekend getaway to New Orleans. Ryan (Regina Hall) is the protagonist and narrator of the story. A relationship expert, Ryan is frank in her views and she’s married, her views include physical relationship. The movie has much of alcohol; misbehavior under the influence of liquor and a strong desire to live life to the full within a week.

The biggest weakness of the movie is that it is pretty predictable. You know what next but still you want to see that happening. The story seems to be meandering but the acts, actions and dialogues will keep the audiences glued to their seats.

Girls Trip First Look & Poster

The poster reveals true colors of the movie. You see naked thighs of a colored woman and the four women are watching the woman with awe. The four women in the poster are actors and they look pretty in colorful dresses and in different hairstyles. It seems that the woman is doing something that the women find surprising. And it is difficult to guess what a woman could to surprise others. Name of starts is printed on bums of the woman and the movie name figures over her thighs.

Why watch the movie?

If you like Bad Moms, Bad Teachers and other movies on women then you will certainly like the Girls Trip. It is comedy but here women become wild and they do everything that they could think of doing.
