Gods of Egypt is a journey into wilderness of ancient Egypt where merciless god of darkness has usurped the throne and plunged the once prosperous state into a state of chaos and conflict. Fate of mankind is hanging in balance and there are no signs of rebellion even when the general populace is reeling under pressure and fear.
The protagonist Bek raises his voice against Set, the merciless god of darkness, to rescue his true love who is a captive of Set. But he needs power to defeat Set. He needs help of god to become more powerful than the god of darkness. Bek persuades the all powerful god Horus to help him in the war against injustice and darkness. The story unfolds into Bek inviting his wrath of Set by raining voices against his merciless rule. Soon the battle begins and it turns to be an epic battle.
Why watch the movie?
According to critics there is no reason to watch this movie as it has been rated poorly on every count but still the movie is attracting viewers. But some bad movies are worth watching. God of Egypt is one the bad movies that you can watch for all the reasons the movie is denied high ratings. Also when you’re watching God of Egypt, you know you are watching a bad movie but still you find it pleasurable.
