Star Trek Beyond: A must see sequel of 2013 Star Trek

As evident from name, Star Trek Beyond is a science fiction film but in reality, it is a sequel to 2013 movie Star Trek Into Darkness. It is the thirteenth of the movies of Star Trek film franchise and third of the movies of reboot series. The film is expected to release on July 22, 2016. The date is expected as its release date has been extended many times by the producers.

Storyline is simple. The USS Enterprise crew lands on an unknown planet where it is attached by a powerful group of aliens that are unstoppable. The crew is led by Captain James T. Kirk, who’s a clever and bold captain. But he’s also unable to stand before the ruthless enemy. What happens next is a thing to be seen as not much information on the story is available today.

Primary locations where most of the scenes were shot are Vancouver, Squamish and British Columbia. But the crew also went to Seoul and Dubai for special shots. The film was completed in October 2015 but in March 2016, it was reported that some scenes need reshooting. Also one more member was added to the cast.

Start Trek Beyond will be released in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D and the production house is already buoyed by the huge response it got for the teaser of the movie. The teaser was released on December 15 and it got many hits and likes on YouTube. But some diehard fans of Star Trek are criticizing the movie for too much action and for the music “Beastie Boys” and “Sabotage”. Critics are of the view that the music is forced on the story and it isn’t needed.

It is a science fiction and also an action movie. Also it is a sequel to the popular Start Trek Into Darkness movie released on 2013. Also it has good music that is already available on YouTube. Movie buffs can see the teaser on YouTube and make an opinion on the movie. Star Trek fans will certainly like it and also action film lovers will appreciate the movie. Looking at its production, it can be said that the movie will be a full throttle entertainment.
