Terminator Genisys Movie

Terminator Genisys is the latest in the series of Terminator movies. However, rather than taking the story forward, it is a reboot of the original Terminator movie. Sadly, the movie fails to recreate the magic even with the special effects, show of muscle and the introduction of an entirely different timeline.

Plot: John Connor (Jason Clarke) sends his friend, Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back in time to 1984, to protect his mother Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke).Only this time Sarah is a battle-ready and hardened warrior, trained by her own Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) since she was 9. Sarah, being well aware of the future, is determined to stop Skynet once and for all and even undertakes time travel to an entirely different era. However, with a new Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) on their trail and complex personal relationship with Reese, does Sarah manage to avert the Judgement Day, now supposed to take place in 2017, is what forms the rest of the story.

Critic’s Review:The movie has received generally average reviews with a rating B+ on a scale of A+ to F. The film has been praised for its exclusive cast and special effects it has also been criticized for the confusing plot through which it attempts to rewrite the entire series.

Cast and Direction: The film has been decently produced by David Ellison and Dana Goldberg. The screenplay has been written by Patrick Lussier, LaetaKalogridisand it has been edited by Roger Barton. The star cast is convincing in their respective roles.

Why will you watch:The one reason that may make people to go out and watch Terminator Genisys is to get a fresh although somewhat confusing look at the original storyline. And of-course there is the double role of Arnold Schwarzenegger to look forward to.
